WINES

THE DOMAIN

On the southern slopes of Mont Brouilly, emblem of the territory,

and where Brulius, a Roman centurion, planted the first vines in Roman times.

At its summit, under the blessing of Notre Dame aux Raisins, the chapel overlooks us with benevolence.

Built in the 19th century to protect the vineyard from bad weather and disease,

for 8 harvests now, it has been our lucky star.

These prestigious terroirs covering the slopes with Gamay, see two vintages grow year after year :

Brouilly & Côte de Brouilly.

We ensure that they are the faithful expression of their lands, their climate, our work,

and a loyal reflection of their own identity.

OUR WINES

Created in the 1960s by a Beaujolais family, this estate is today our family's dream come true.
It is also mine, “back to the land”, to sublimate it, by combining know-how.

Like generations before us, our plots are cherished. Committed to a responsible and demanding approach, the quality and diversity of the terroirs give our wines this unique character.
Upon arrival at the vat room, the whole grapes are the subject of our full attention. Thanks to gravity work and minimal handling,
Gamay is fully expressed in our wines.

Since everything that is shared is better,
let's go on a journey among the best terroirs of Beaujolais,
and always accompanied by my lucky star.

Cuvée Pater

Côte de Brouilly

Cuvée from our plots located “around my father’s house”. Pater, a Latin nod to the centurion Brulius, is also a tribute to our elders.

5-hectare plots, with a steep slope, climbing towards the Mont. Old vines, sometimes centuries old, pruned only in goblet form. Granite and volcanic blue stone soils. Sustainable phytosanitary protection certified HVE3. Manual harvest at optimum maturity. Vinification in whole bunches over 14 days. Gentle pneumatic pressing. Aging in vats before bottling.

Single-plot cuvée from our historic plot. Its name comes from the Roman lieutenant Brulius, who received this hill as a reward for his victories.
